The appearance of the hotel in both the public areas and the bedroom- the name Styles is certainly appropriate. The Leeds dialect sayings written on the walls and the carpet pattern are fun. I liked the layout of the room, the excellent lighting and quality of the fittings. The shower was exceptionally easy to use and I could switch the heated towel rail on and off (plug switch inside the wardrobe) - not always possible in a hotel. Air conditioning was quiet and effective. The breakfast was good and we appreciated being able to help ourselves to a variety of hot drinks (from a machine in near the lifts) from early morning to 11pm as well as having a kettle etc in the bedroom. We chose this hotel as it is close to the 02 Academy. The location is great in many ways, easy walking distance to excellent places to eat and lots of shops plus Merrion Park. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cost of our stay was extremely good value. We would be very happy to stay there again.

Firstly, the location is excellent, about a 10 min walk to the train station. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, shops, and supermarkets within a short walking distance. The staff were warm and friendly and helpful as we lost a key card. Happily answered all the questions we had. The buffet style breakfast in the restaurant attached was excellent with lots of gluten-free options. Unlimited Tea and coffee and juice at breakfast also free coffee, tea and hot chocolate available in the foyer (which we took full advantage of) The room itself was good though the bed was a little for our liking. The room has Tea/Coffee station with kettle, large flat screen tv, small desk. The bathroom though small was very usable and the shower was nice (no bath). Overall it was pretty clean but like most places could have been a bit cleaner.

Great value for the money. The hotel was in the city centre, and I honestly can't believe how clean this place was. The facilities were nice (free coffee!!), the bathroom was modern, and the mattress was super comfy! I also appreciated how quiet it was at night. If you're a light sleeper, this is the place! I also requested a quiet room, and the staff were more than happy to accommodate. Leeds is a wonderful city, and it felt nice having the hotel a mere 10 minutes away by foot. The bus station is about 15 minutes away, and the Dominos next door is another great perk ;) Also, the air con was AMAZING . It was 25C during the weekend if by visit, and having the room cooled throughout the day was fab.

Good location, easy walking distance into the city centre. Quiet location when we were there over the weekend, both in terms of outdoor noise and other guests. Good sized room. I loved the king-size bed. Two well stuffed pillows each. Shower/handwash provided. Appreciated the removable coat hangers, glad I can be trusted not to make off with them, and they didn't need to be the kind detachable from the hook 😉 Generous TV screen.

Welcomed by the staff at the reception when we booked in. We were on the second floor. The room was an okay size, bed was comfortable. Room was bright clean and modern décor. The bathroom was adequate size too, shower was good. The breakfast was good, plenty on offer. Full English or continental.
