Only needed somewhere to change and sleep for night as we was watching a comedy gig there so wasn't looking for anything fancy, just something clean, convenient, comfortable and affordable... it was all this and actually quite nice. Quite a quirky hotel, staff seemed friendly at reception. Got a discount for parking. You can stream off your phone to the TV but we lost connection but didn't ruin the night just worth a mention if there a while. Good when it worked though to have that option when winding down. They have a restaurant there but if you want breakfast then be up on time and ready or you snooze and loose like we did as it ends at 10am... thank god for weatherspoons which isn't far, as wasn't the dominoes we had for tea the night before right next door and close to bars, restaurants and shopping centre. Liked the late checkout time though too. All in all was happy and thought we had a bargain to be honest.

Ignore all the "ee by gum" nonsense on the walls. If there's anything essentially "Yorkshire" about this hotel - and mostly there isn't - it's its functionality. It's clean, convenient and efficient . The staff are not overly chatty. They seem to exist to process you in and out asap. However, they thaw out quickly if you engage them in conversation and they'll do their best to help you. I found them to be a pleasant bunch of youngsters behind it all, they're just very busy, probably. My room was lovely and quiet, and it was well-serviced. The cleaning staff are very hard-working.

I stayed here twice due to needing to be near to the hospital. Easy to find, mostly clean (some hairs in shower on second visit), quiet, comfy and able to sleep well. Staff helpful and got extra towels when needed. Loved the shower and decor. Nice having somewhere lovely to relax after difficult days.

The staff was very helpful.The hotel very clean and very quiet. My room was excellent and very spacious. The bed so big and comfy and I loved the big screen tv. Also the curtains were proper blackout so I had the best sleeps I've had in absolute ages. I liked the lighting system and the fact there's plenty of sockets in the room and by the bed. I'm definitely staying here again

Good food, good facilities, great shower, comfy and HUGE bed and really friendly staff. We had to work during the day in the common areas and they were well heated and comfortable. The staff even turned off the music at one point to help us concentrate! The free tea and coffee at reception were great

Helpful friendly staff. Immaculately clean. Comfortable. Loved having Chromecast on the tv so we could watch our own Netflix. Cosy bedroom slept really well both times I’ve stayed here. Secure parking close by.

The hotel is nice, well-located, comfortable and has friendly, helpful staff. I liked that they had a complimentary coffee machine in the lobby for guests to use, including a couple of flavoured syrups. It was nice to grab a cup on the way back to the room. A small touch, but appreciated.

We loved all the decoration, it was themed on Leeds and Yorkshire. It was bright and colourful with lots of quirky fun details. The room and shared areas were very clean.
